How to Cleaning and Fix Meltblown Machine Spinneret

• Step1: Put Spinneret and filter into furnace
• Step2: Ultrasonic cleaning unit
   
• Step3: Put spinneret on table with light
• Step4: Check the hole one by one by magnifier
• Step5: Cleaning the hole by needle with diameter 0.25mm
• Step6: Fix the cover and tighten all the screws gently
• Step7: Adjust the gap up to 0.8mm

CLEANING OF MELT BLOWN DIES, MELT BLOWN DIE BLOCKS
Liquid polymer under high pressure comes out of a spinning beam (die beam, die block) in the melt blown process (spinning fleece process) and will be blown and spun through high speed hot air and cold air into fine fibres (micro fibres), which will be collected by a takeup mesh and carried away. Nonwoven micro fibre fleece fabrics are produced by this method, which, depending on the application, could be produced in different densities, thicknesses, absorptivity, strengths and merged into several layers. Besides of the well-known fleece shirts and fleece jackets, other typical products are extremely light but high efficient respiratory filters, cabin filters and fuel filters, and also large absorption and isolating stuff, such as diapers, cushion fleece, or isolating mats. Single use clothes or vacuum cleaner bags are also manufactured out of micro fibres fleece.

The cleaning of these spinning beams or die beams, which are frequently several meters long, requires a very delicate cleaning process, due to the extremely fine die holes and geometries.

How to use an ultrasonic cleaner ?

Cleaning prior to lacquering

Ultrasonic clean 130° F, 2 to 3 minutes, 38 to 40 kHz sweep, 300 Hz sweep rate
Chemistry, Brulin 815GD, 12 ounces per gallon of water
Spray rinse with de-ionized* water to remove gross detergent
Immersion rinse in flowing warm de-ionized* water (30 seconds)
Spray rinse with de-ionized* water (final rinse)
Blow dry with clean compressed air or dry nitrogen

 

Cleaning to remove calcium buildup (replaces "chem-clean")

Ultrasonic clean <110° F, 2 to 3 minutes, 38 to 40 kHz sweep, 300 Hz sweep rate
Chemistry, Ultra-power 132, 1 to 1½ ounces per gallon of water
Spray rinse with de-ionized* water to remove gross detergent
